Kaolin is a fine, iron-free, white rock. Its main constituent is kaolinite (weathering product of feldspar).
In addition to its use in cosmetics, kaolin is also used in the food industry, medicine and as a cleaning agent.
Kaolin has detoxifying and cleansing properties ("blotting paper” effect"). In addition, it refines the pores, soothes the skin and is very well tolerated.
